Michelle Heyne, OA elected as Presiding Sister

Michelle is the first lay person to serve in the position. Michelle is a parish development consultant and trainer as well as a consultant in the financial services industry. She is married to Sean Fitzpatrick and attends St. Paul's Church in Seattle.
The Order of the Ascension was founded in 1983. Father Emmett Jarrett referred to the order as "Anglican Jesuits". OA is a disbursed Benedictine community with a charism of parish revitalization.
